Specialist merchant, SIG Roofing has completed its 2026 Roadshow programme, holding events in Birmingham on 4th February, Windsor on 10th February and Waltham Abbey on 12th February.

More than 300 managers and team members attended the three events, which focused on business performance, customer service and operational priorities for the year ahead.

Focus on customer service and market opportunities in 2026

The annual roadshow provides an opportunity for branch managers and senior leaders to review the previous year’s performance and align on strategy.

Managing Director of the business, Chris Lodge opened the sessions with a review of 2025 trading and outlined plans to strengthen the company’s customer proposition in 2026. Discussions included identifying opportunities in local markets and broadening product ranges to ensure consistency of expertise across branches.

The business reported improvements in customer satisfaction during 2025, reflected in a Trustpilot score of 4.7.

Solar PV and industrial Roofing among growth areas

Branch teams shared case studies and practical initiatives aimed at supporting roofing contractors and trade customers more effectively.

Areas of focus included expanding solar PV and industrial roofing solutions, increasing technical training and promoting value-added services such as the company’s “One Warranty” assurance scheme.

The sessions also addressed ongoing market pressures and wider economic conditions affecting the construction supply chain.

Awards and charity partnership recognised

Alongside business updates, the events included team-based activities designed to reinforce collaboration across the branch network.

The programme concluded with awards recognising individual and branch performance, as well as a presentation from Gavin Crane, chief executive of charity partner Band of Builders. The charity outlined projects completed in 2025 with support from SIG Roofing through fundraising, materials and staff volunteering.

Managing Director, Chris Lodge said: “The SIG Roofing Roadshows are an important annual event for the business. Each roadshow gave the leadership team and branch managers the opportunity to align on our customer-focused vision, share ideas to grow market share, make trading easier and above all reinforce our purpose together beyond the day-to-day tasks.

Our customers remain at the heart of every decision we make. By investing in our people, our tools and our partnerships, we’re ensuring that roofing contractors across the UK receive the breadth and depth of products, expertise and service they need to succeed. With another successful roadshow series complete, we’re ready to build on this momentum and deliver even greater value in 2026.”
