Flex-R are a leading supplier of professional flat roof systems in the UK. Our range includes RubberBond FleeceBack EPDM, manufactured by Carlisle-SynTec, and LQD-PUR Polyurethane Liquid Waterproofing systems.

Flex-R was founded in 2000 and become one of the UK’s largest suppliers of single-ply membranes.

We supply RubberBond FleeceBack EPDM & LQD-PUR Polyurethane Liquid Waterproofing directly to trained & registered roofing contractors. These Specialist Registered Installers (SRI’s) have access to a dedicated technical representative. They provide initial training and are there to support the contractor at any stage. They provide installation training, respond to technical queries, and can be there on-site with the contractor when needed.

Our RubberBond FleeceBack & LQD-PUR systems can only be purchased from Flex-R by contractors who are members of our Specialist Registered Installer (SRI) scheme and show continuous high standards of workmanship and customer care.

SRI contractors have access to a range of premium quality roofing products and guarantees that are not available to any other contractor.

The range of roof build-ups and surfaces that are encountered in the refurbishment of flat roofs or the design limitations of some systems when creating new flat roof areas can often be overcome by choosing RubberBond FleeceBack EPDM for your next flat roof.

RubberBond FleeceBack EPDM can be installed onto a variety of deck surfaces resulting in a system suitable for overlay of many aged roof systems, roof renovation and new projects, in small and large commercial installations.

With an extensive range of accessories to suit a multitude of functions, the RubberBond Fleeceback EPDM system enables you to complete many roofing requirements.

Factory Applied Tape seams, pre-formed pipe seals, pourable sealer & formable Pressure Sensitive Tapes capable of moulding to the contours of virtually any shape found on a roof are some of the accessories that can save valuable time when installing RubberBond FleeceBack Single Ply.

RubberBond Air & Vapour Control Layer (AVCL) is a self-adhesive bituminous membrane, with an aluminium foil laminate and glass fibre reinforcement.

LQD-PUR is a complete roof waterproofing system. Tried and tested polyurethane technology provides the reassurance of a long-lasting roof, further supported by the awarding of BBA certificates for systems assessed to provide a durable waterproof coating with service lives in excess of 20 and 25 years.

The LQD-PUR system is able to withstand the stresses that roofs experience due to its elastomeric properties. Rapid curing components, and cross-linking technology provide the professional contractor with a fast, easy to install system.

There are occasions when a roof replacement isn’t suitable. It may be that a short-term repair is needed.

LQD-Repair Roof Repair Coating is a cold applied, fibre reinforced coating that provides a waterproof repair to many conventional roof surfaces. It can be brush or roller applied straight from the can, on to a range of substrates, including bituminous surfaces, gutters, brickwork, concrete, felt, metals and fibreglass surfaces.
