Last year, adolescents in Inverclyde were provided with the opportunity to acquire some practical skills relating to the building sector.
A programme created by Action For Children, a third sector organisation, will take place at 175 Dalrymple Street in Inverclyde.
The programme will last for 5 weeks, aimed at the ages between 16 and 24 years old.
Those who take part will benefit from applied expertise on an array of fields, some of which include, carrying & moving heavy materials, asbestos, and how to avoid dangerous situations and much more.
Additionally, the programme consists of a CSCS examination. It aims to provide a route to certifications relating to the building sector, and was created to support adolescents, especially in relation to their self-esteem, and getting them ready for work.
At the Confederation of Roofing Contractors (CORC), we are as proud of our partners as we are of our roofers.
So that we can show you, the consumer, that you can rely on us to give you advice and refer roofers to you. To back up all that we stand for and so that you can be reassured that we can help with any problem you may have, we have aligned ourselves with an array of companies and feel privileged in the fact that we do so.
Many of our partners specialise in health & safety in the workplace, to ensure the security of members of the public and personnel.
